UK: BT Reveals Plans for All-IP Network

BT has revealed the first details of how it plans to roll out its 21st Century Network (21CN), the ambitious all-IP network announced in 2004, designed to replace BT's traditional switched public network.

At the same time however, the UK's incumbent telco has been criticised by the telecom adjudicator for its unbundling efforts, where competitors are allowed to introduce equipment into its exchanges in order to open up the market.
